Trio With Two Alarm Clock Radios, and Alarm
Hello collective, hope all summers are smooth. I’ve had alot of time to follow through with some musical intentions, and this is one of them. I found that I’m really fond of the static/fuzz/noise that exists between radio stations, so i recorded a performance where I ‘play’ the radios. I had set the actual alarm clock for 6 minutes, having that be the end of the song, but i got a little carried away. I recorded the entire thing with a condenser mic. and a SM57 that i would use to solo one of the actual radios. I ran everything through my firewire 410 interface and into garageband. I am overall satisfied with the way this turned out, but i think i could have turned the gain way up, and shortened the piece. …..
p.s. does FM and AM stand for frequency and amplitude modulation? is that in our text book.
ill check i guess. but how does that apply to radios. and what is this new HD radio?
